As a television actress and Breck Girl spokesperson, my hair has always been one of my signature features. Finding a stylist who isn’t intimidated by it’s thickness or coarse texture has been challenging. Luckily, I discovered Doug and V’s salon during my Tahoe stay. Both engaging and talented, Doug and V are the kind of stylists one can count on for GREAT results! I’m happy to report I’m enjoying the best cut my mane has received in years! My only regret is that I don’t live closer! Now I understand about those folks who literally book a flight to keep an appointment with their favorite hair stylist! That just might be me!

I had my first appointment recently and Valorie is amazing! I have naturally curly hair so getting my hair cut has always been traumatic. We looked at pictures of where I want to go with my hair and what I like. Valorie is so knowledgeable and her shop is full of top of the line, natural products which is important to me. She and her partner go out of their way make you feel welcome with wine or coffee. It was a wonderful experience and I will be back. They offer beauty bar and packages for “girls night”or bachelorette parties and I think it would be a perfect location.

V’z Image Option’s salon is lovely and clean, the staff is warm and welcoming, and are quick to offer a beverage. They are never pushy about the products they sell, but are more than happy to give suggestions. Valorie herself is a mastermind when it comes to hair. She has done a great job every time I have been in. She listens to what I want to get out of the cut and is very honest if she thinks a cut will not work with my hair. I would highly recommend her and her salon.

I got the Jessner peel from Doug last Thursday. Just checking in to say the peel went great! The peeling started on Saturday and it was INTENSE. My whole face sloughed off. Which I expected of course. Yesterday was the first somewhat more chill day. Still flaky but not sloughing. Which was good timing because I had to go back to work yesterday and today. Today just a bit of flaking but the results are amazing! The texture and smoothness are exactly what I wanted. Looks and feels great. Thanks so much!
